London Morgan, the official London dealership of the British car manufacturer The Morgan Motor Company, has announced a series of art exhibitions at its showroom in South Kensington.
This initiative continues an artistic period for London Morgan, having already partnered last year with the Brompton Design District, a subsidiary of the London Design Festival.
London Morgan’s series of art exhibitions will open with THE RACHEL MERCER EXHIBITION taking place until 21st March 2015 at London Morgan’s showroom.
Rachel Mercer is a fine art painter with intense feelings for the natural world and a strong commitment to the traditions of nature painting. The exhibition, titled GROWTH, sees Rachel Mercer bring her unique vision of nature and musings of the natural world to life in a series of brilliantly observed works that vividly embrace all facets of nature in its full range and splendour. Her concern for the present and future state of the Earth, under threat from global warming, global conflict and overpopulation is subtly expressed through her paintings. Art has the power to influence behaviour and Rachel Mercer wields that power with sensitivity and with a sharp but critical eye.
