Fast & Furious 7 to use CGI Paul Walker

The show must go on, and in the case of Fast & Furious 7, it will do so with Paul Walker, who was killed in a car accident on November 30, 2013. At the time of his death, Walker had already begin filming the seventh installment in the career-defining franchise.

It was already known that Walker's F&F character, Brian O'Connor, would still appear in FF7, and that the film "retire" the character and move the series forward. How and to what degree Walker would be used was the mystery. Now we know.

The New York Daily News reports that with shooting back underway, the filmmakers will use body doubles, CGI, and Walker's own voice to keep his character in the film to complete his storyline. The late actor's face will be digitally added to the body doubles and his voice will be used for the dialoge.
