Quebec City: The newest-generation Ford Explorer was released just before Christmas to decent reviews and promises of early sales, yet it appears Ford has become a bit nervous over some of the observations made in those initial reviews — namely, the fact that this is the first Explorer built on a unibody frame with a lowered chassis and car-like suspension.
